By using True Sky astrology software, you agree to the following terms:

Service Description

True Sky, provided by Mastering the Zodiac LLC, offers astronomical astrology software for personal and entertainment purposes. Features include various astrological chart calculations, planetary transit visualizations, and other related tools and information. All content is for educational and entertainment use only and does not constitute professional advice.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service in accordance with these Terms. If astrology is restricted or illegal in your location, you access the service at your own risk. Mastering the Zodiac LLC will not be liable for any legal consequences you may face.

User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Authentication is via Google or email verification and only minimal profile data is stored. You are responsible for account security. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are between 13 and 17, you may only use the service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements. We do not perform independent age verification. You may delete your account in-app; we will delete profile data and charts, retaining only what is required by law or billing.

Acceptable Use

Use the service for lawful purposes. Do not interfere with or disrupt operation. Follow applicable laws in your location. Respect other users; participate in a constructive, non-abusive manner. No prohibited, harassing, hateful, defamatory, obscene, or spam content in any part of the service, including chat. No impersonation, doxxing, unlawful solicitation, reverse engineering, or infringement of others' rights.

Community Chat

The community chat feature allows users to communicate in real time. By using it, you agree to the following: messages are stored temporarily before being automatically deleted, generally within four weeks. Do not share personal, sensitive, or confidential information; chat is not private. We may monitor, remove, or edit any messages at our discretion for moderation, safety, or legal compliance. We may limit, suspend, or ban your access to chat or the service (with or without notice) for violations of these Terms or applicable law. You are solely responsible for your own messages and any consequences of posting them.

DMCA Notice: If you believe that text in the chat infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to [email protected] with: (1) your contact information, (2) identification of the infringing text, (3) a statement under penalty of perjury that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf, and (4) your signature. We will review and, if appropriate, remove the content.

AI Chat

The AI Chat feature ("Sky") provides AI-assisted astrological interpretations. By using it, you agree to the following: your messages and chart data are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI service to generate responses. Anthropic retains this data temporarily for abuse prevention per their privacy policy. Conversation history is stored on our servers (limited to 100 messages per user). The optional memory feature stores your name, preferences, and notes to personalize responses. You can disable memory or delete it at any time in ACCOUNT. AI responses may contain errors and are for entertainment purposes only. Usage limits apply per billing cycle. We may adjust limits to ensure service quality.

Privacy Policy

We collect only the data needed to operate the service, including Google account details, subscription and payment data via Stripe, saved charts/settings, temporary chat history, and server logs for security. We use essential cookies (such as a session cookie) to maintain your login state and secure the service. These cookies do not track you for advertising purposes and are required for the site to function. Affiliate referrals may be tracked via non-personal parameters.

AI Chat: When you use AI Chat, your messages and chart data are sent to Anthropic LLC for processing. Anthropic processes this data to generate responses and retains it temporarily per their privacy policy. Stored AI conversation history and optional memory can be deleted in ACCOUNT.

Email Communications: By creating an account, you agree to receive service-related emails about your account, important updates, and service changes. You may also receive feature announcements and product updates which you can unsubscribe from at any time. These communications are considered part of the service.

If you access the service from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and stored in the United States. Data is stored securely on servers in the United States, retained only as long as necessary or required by law, and may be transferred internationally using legal safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA. Limited sharing occurs with Google (authentication), Stripe (billing; card data is processed by Stripe, and we do not store card numbers), Anthropic (AI Chat), and hosting providers, each under their own privacy policies.

Legal bases for processing (EU/UK): performance of a contract (to provide the service), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the service), and consent where we rely on it (e.g., certain communications). Where applicable (GDPR, CCPA), you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, withdraw consent, or object to certain uses. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Contact [email protected] to exercise rights.

Children's Privacy: the service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us to delete it. We take reasonable security measures but cannot guarantee absolute protection. If required by law, we will notify you and authorities of any data breach.

Subscription and Billing

Some features require a paid subscription billed via Stripe. A free trial may be included for new subscriptions, with the length and terms stated at sign-up. At the end of the trial, your paid plan will begin and your default payment method will be charged the then-current price unless you cancel through the billing portal before the trial ends. One trial per user. All payments are final. We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law. You may cancel at any time via the billing portal to prevent future charges. A payment reversal, chargeback, or refund initiated after access has been granted is grounds for terminating your access to True Sky, in addition to Mastering the Zodiac LLC's other remedies. Mastering the Zodiac LLC may contest chargebacks with supporting documentation.

Service Availability & Right to Refuse Service

We aim for reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, be added, or be removed at our discretion. Maintenance and outages will be announced when possible. We may suspend or terminate accounts, or restrict features (including chat), at our discretion for policy or legal violations, in compliance with applicable laws and without unlawful discrimination.

Content Ownership

All service software, calculations, and content we provide are owned by Mastering the Zodiac LLC and protected by copyright. No reproduction or distribution without written permission. However, you may share printed charts, graphs, and reports generated by the service without modification.

User Content & License

You retain ownership of content you submit (including chat messages). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and moderate that content solely to operate, secure, and improve the service. You represent that you have all rights needed to grant this license.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mastering the Zodiac LLC, its affiliates, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

Limitation of Liability

True Sky is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for decisions made based on astrological information. Mastering the Zodiac LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other losses. Mastering the Zodiac LLC's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Mastering the Zodiac LLC in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply to liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes

We may update these Terms and the Privacy Policy from time to time. Where required by law, we will provide notice of material changes before they take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Mastering the Zodiac LLC regarding your use of True Sky and supersede all prior communications, oral or written, on that subject. Product-specific agreements you separately accept, including the Mastering the Zodiac website Terms and any CTSA Terms, remain in effect for those programs and are not superseded by these Terms.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, to the extent permitted by applicable law, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Both parties agree to attempt informal resolution before filing suit. You and Mastering the Zodiac LLC waive any right to bring or join a class action, collective action, or class-wide arbitration; all disputes must be brought in your individual capacity.
