The topocentric system calculates planetary positions relative to the observer's location on Earth's surface, rather than from Earth's center (geocentric). This results in slightly different positions, particularly for the Moon, and is preferred by some astrologers for its physical accuracy.

Chiron is a small celestial body orbiting between Saturn and Uranus, often called the "Wounded Healer" in astrology. It represents our deepest wounds and our capacity to heal ourselves and others through understanding those wounds. This calculator displays Chiron alongside the traditional planets.
