The Porphyrius house system, named after the 3rd-century philosopher Porphyry, is a quadrant system that divides the space between the angles (Ascendant, IC, Descendant, MC) into three equal parts. It is one of the oldest house systems still in use today.

The Part of Fortune is a calculated Arabic Part that represents worldly success, prosperity, and where we can find joy. It is calculated from the positions of the Sun, Moon, and Ascendant. This calculator displays the Part of Fortune alongside the traditional planets.
