The Kanatas ayanamsa is a custom sidereal system with a unique approach to measuring the precession of the equinoxes. It uses a custom ayanamsa value of approximately 3.95 degrees, offering a distinct perspective compared to other sidereal systems.

The Porphyrius house system, named after the 3rd-century philosopher Porphyry, is a quadrant system that divides the space between the angles (Ascendant, IC, Descendant, MC) into three equal parts. It is one of the oldest house systems still in use today.
