The Fagan-Bradley ayanamsa is a popular Western sidereal system developed by Cyril Fagan and Donald Bradley. It places the vernal point at 0° Aries in the year 221 CE, resulting in an ayanamsa of approximately 24.7° in 2000.

The topocentric system calculates planetary positions relative to the observer's location on Earth's surface, rather than from Earth's center (geocentric). This results in slightly different positions, particularly for the Moon, and is preferred by some astrologers for its physical accuracy.
