The Fagan-Bradley ayanamsa is a popular Western sidereal system developed by Cyril Fagan and Donald Bradley. It places the vernal point at 0° Aries in the year 221 CE, resulting in an ayanamsa of approximately 24.7° in 2000.

The Porphyrius house system, named after the 3rd-century philosopher Porphyry, is a quadrant system that divides the space between the angles (Ascendant, IC, Descendant, MC) into three equal parts. It is one of the oldest house systems still in use today.
