Thank you for your interest in writing for Mastering the Zodiac. We are passionate about sharing new perspectives with our online community.

We are currently looking for high-quality articles to post on our website, share on social media, and share with our newsletter subscribers. We are particularly interested in finding in-house writers that will write for us as regular contributors.

Writing for us is a great way to showcase your expertise in astrology and share your work with others in the industry. Additionally, you will get exposure to our online community of over 30K monthly visitors via the website, social media channels, and newsletter.

We have high standards for the quality of the content we share. Please carefully read the following guidelines to successfully submit your article.

Topic Guidelines

  1. Niche topic in astrology. We are looking for articles covering subjects that have not been covered heavily by others in the industry.
  2. Preferably is at least one of the following:
    • It's a new spin on an existing hot topic
    • Interesting/catchy/unexpected
    • It's weird/bizarre/different/peculiar
    • It strongly impacts a large number of people
  3. NOT a how-to piece, top-10s, lists such as resource lists, or articles pegged to current news or viral trends.
  4. NOT already covered on our website. Please take the time to look through our current articles to make sure this topic is not close to what has already been covered.

Article Guidelines

  1. Between 800 - 1600 words. We prefer articles on the lower end of this range that are condensed, rich, and say a lot with fewer words. No filler words and sentences.
  2. Generally fits the structure and theme of our previous articles. Here is an example.
  3. Is easily readable and has good grammar. Preferably passes most of the readability and grammar checks from these two websites:
  4. Does NOT include promotional material. Avoid self-promotion and promotional citations to websites. When citing only use sources that are the leading experts on the subject and avoid linking to other astrology websites if possible.
  5. Has NOT been previously published or rewritten. We are looking for new articles written specifically for our community. Please do not include any articles that have been previously published or rewritten for our audience.

What to expect

If your article is approved we will publish your article on our website, share it through our social media channels, and share it in our newsletter. Your name will be included as the author below the article title on our website. It may take up to six months for the article to be published depending on our editorial calendar. However, most articles will be published within 4-6 weeks. We will let you know within 5-10 days if your article is approved or not.

If three or more of your articles are published we will add you to the list of our in-house writers on our website. Your profile will include your name, profile picture, short bio, and follow-link to your website and up to three of your social media pages (top social media websites only). We will contact you for this information after your third article is approved. Your name under each article title will be hyperlinked to your profile.

Your article will be edited by our in-house editor to ensure the article fits within our website theme and composition. Please do not submit your article if you are not OK with the following:

If your article is approved we will email you the edited draft for your approval. You can deny the edited draft and we will not publish your article.

Terms and Conditions

You will always be credited as the author. However, once the article has been published on our website it becomes the property of Mastering the Zodiac LLC.

This means that we may edit the article's content in the future for accuracy and comprehensiveness, as well as include call-to-actions to other content and services.

This also means that once published on our website you cannot republish it elsewhere, including your own website or channels. Of course, you can link to it and credit yourself as the author.

Please be sure your email is text only with no email attachments. Please do not include any images or HTML code. These will be added later if approved. For any citations feel free to hyperlink the text directly in the email or put URLs in parenthesis next to the text you want to be hyperlinked.
